Woodcutters Lodge

Woodcutters Lodge is situated in the peace and seclusion of Buckland Park.

The cabin has been fully renovated and furnished to a high standard, and offers Wi-Fi. It provides very comfortable accommodation for six people, up to four adults + two children/teenagers in loft bedroom, as follows:

Steps lead up to the large entrance porch from which doors lead into a light and airy lounge with a three piece suite, TV & DVD, Radio and a cosy wood-burning stove. The windows look out onto the hillside where buzzards can be seen soaring over the grazing cattle. The modern kitchen which overlooks the pretty private garden has all new appliances including fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, hob, washing-machine and pine dining-table with six chairs.

Leading off the lounge is a double bedroom with a large built-in wardrobe and bedside cabinets and a twin bedroom with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC, washbasin, shaver point and heated towel rail. There are electric wall heaters throughout the cabin.

Spacesaver stairs from the lounge lead up to a large open plan loft bedroom ideal for teenagers and older children with velux windows and plenty of space for relaxing or playing. There are twin beds, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers and clothes hooks. (This room is not suitable for very young children or babies)

Outside the lovely sunny garden is very secluded and full of trees and shrubs. A large area of decking just outside the cabin with a picnic table provides the ideal place to dine or sit and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the valley.

At the bottom of the steps there is parking for two cars and an area for turning.
